We don't wait for permission. We shoot the film, then we put it in front of an audience — a magazine, a theater, a billboard in Times Square. The work makes the room.

The Studio

Where indie meets innovation.

Founded in November 2024 by Kenny Scott Guffey and Chris Hooten, CK Film & Entertainment was built on one stubborn idea: ensemble-driven, fearless storytelling shouldn't depend on a coastal zip code. We've featured friends like Tuesday Knight (Nightmare on Elm Street 4), produced alongside Christopher Serrone (Goodfellas), and put our work in front of readers of Billboard and audiences at the Kentucky Theater.

Three films in two years — and we're just getting started. Next up: a haunted-house documentary in Louisiana, followed by the slasher feature Festevil in July.
